The tripling of worldwide nuclear capacity, called for at COP28, requires the build-out of reactors both large and small, factoring in design, fuel availability, fuel recycling, and safe disposal of nuclear material. Structural Mechanics In Reactor Technology (SMiRT28)

The SMiRT28 conference will focus on "harnessing nuclear technologies and innovation as a path to net zero by 2050." The 5th International CNS Technical Meeting on Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness for the Nuclear Industry
September 9 – 12, 2025, Blue Mountains, Ontario

The 2.5-day core program includes 12 plenary sessions and a series of themed technical discussions. This conference provides a platform for individuals and groups in Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness to share how they have addressed recent challenges while showcasing key developments in the domestic and international nuclear industry. 6th Canadian Conference on Nuclear Waste Management, Decommissioning and Environmental Restoration
August 24 - 28 2025, Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada

The theme of the conference is Balancing the Management of Radioactive Waste and Future Decommissioning Of Canada’s Existing Nuclear Fleet with the needs for building a new Zero-Carbon Future.
